The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit at the University of Baghdad/College of Pharmacy, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathum Alkhateeb, held an exhibition to showcase students’ designs on the occasion of Design Day. The exhibition featured designs in various fields of pharmaceutical sciences, such as innovative and applicable formulations of pharmaceutical products, as well as new and abbreviated methods for manufacturing some important active pharmaceutical ingredients used in pharmaceutical formulations. Additionally, designs utilizing natural sources to produce some herbal remedies using distinctive scientific and pharmaceutical methods were showcased, along with informative and educational posters covering various health-related topics. The exhibition witnessed significant interaction among the students themselves, between the students and the faculty of the college, and among the invited guests. This interaction contributed to creating a positive atmosphere among the students, encouraging them to unleash their creativity and innovative ideas. Such events will continue to be organized in the future, based on the desire of many students who did not have the opportunity to participate, as well as those who did, to present designs that serve our beloved country and our university.
