Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor Dr. Sarmed H. Kathem Alkhateeb, a scientific activity entitled “Explanation of the Principles of Molecular Modeling and Demonstration How to Use the Maestro Software” was held. This activity was organized by faculty members from the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Department with the participation of a group of fifth-stage students. The activity included a lecture to explain the principles of molecular modeling, followed by a practical workshop on using the Maestro program, as well as guidance on how to analyze data and use the results for scientific publication. The students showed great engagement through questions and discussions, and they also installed the Maestro Viewer program on their personal computers to analyze data and benefit from the results in their graduation research projects. The faculty members involved in the event were Assistant Professor Dr. Ayad AL-Hamashi, Assistant Lecturer Rusul Mohammed Hassan Ali, and Assistant Lecturer Mazen Mohammed Jwaid.
